Rosacea

Rosacea is a common, chronic, inflammatory skin condition that is similar to acne. It usually appears on the central region of the face. Rosacea symptoms and signs include redness of the face, small dilated blood vessels, easy facial blushing or flushing, small red acne-like lesions, and pink or irritated eyes. Rosacea can be exacerbated by heat, spicy food, alcohol, smoking, emotional stress and even changes in weather such as rising humidity or strong winds. When untreated, rosacea tends to get worse over time.
